This was purchased to function as the primary drive for a Sony Viao UX280p.It functions as expected minus 2 things that could stand to be a bit better.The zif connector pops open at the slightest of pressure and the ribbon slides out.It could be much better if the connector had a better locking mechanism.I had to put the original drive bracket over this and wrap some electrical tapeover where the connector went under the bracket to force it to stay locked. Afterwhich it did stay in place rather well.Secondly the board could be a little bit longer or the CF connector moved closer to the zif connector.Reason being when this is installed inside a small confined area in a device, ...
